As some will know our motorhome, “The Mothership”, met an undignified end on the side of the highway a few weeks ago. Fortunately everyone survived unscathed apart from the loss of many personal items.

We move on … and we’re pleased to introduce our new motorhome “Piglet”.
We had been planning to buy a bigger motorhome and had looked at quite a few, but when we saw Piglet we just fell in love with it. Despite being quite diminutive, it has everything we need and is in fact roomier and more functional than the old Mothership.
No, there’s no particular reason for the name apart from perhaps the fact that the registration number ends in PG. It was just a name we liked.
Piglet is a Sunliner built on a Toyota Hilux chassis. It has a double bed over the cab (with a super-comfy inner-spring mattress), a shower, toilet, a dinette which can be quickly converted to another bed, gas hot water … and for the Australian summer, ducted air conditioning! 🙂

We’ll keep you posted on the continuing adventures of “Piglet”
